Tinomutenda

Tino is a Zimbabwean-born/Botswana resident M.S student in Cybersecurity. With a background in Computer Science and Mathematics, one of her many goals is to provide better platforms and substantial support for girls (and underprivileged children) at the K-12 level who want to get into S.T.E.M fields. Her belief is teachers lay the foundation for how the world is technologically developed. As a result, every child must be encouraged to achieve their aspirations, regardless of societal norms on gender roles.

She has served as a TA before and is currently the Head TA for a Computing ethics undergraduate class. Her objective as an ITA Liaison is to help make the program a comfortable, safe environment for ITAs to learn from one another and to feel confident in sharing their knowledge with their new community.
