Over the last few years, Georgia Tech has engaged in important work to look at the learning environment and the academic well-being of our students. As we finish Fall semester and wrap up 2020, each of us is deeply impacted by the uncertainty that surrounds us.
So how do we keep the spark in our teaching and mentoring as well as our students’ learning within this context? What is likely to give us energy or zap our energy? How can we identify and mitigate the symptoms of burnout for both faculty and students? In this virtual workshop, participants will explore aspects of well-being that can translate into the classroom as well as ways to keep up their own energy during these trying times.
Presented by Dr. Rebecca Pope-Ruark, Faculty Teaching and Learning Specialist, Center for Teaching and Learning. To register for this event, please visit: https://ctl.gatech.edu/content/keeping-spark-ways-maintain-energy-trying-times
